Based upon that and some information about cavalry units in the American Civil War and Russian Kozaks my current "working figure" is 100 km (60 miles) a day. I can hand-waive rider tiredness because of the magic bond allowing the man/horse combo to work in perfect unison. (In fact that is the in-story reason for the bond in the first place.) | |
