  • $\begingroup$ So if I found (or fudged) a liquid that was not completely transparent, but much more so than water, I could effectively get a result very similar to earth atmosphere? As that's important for typical earth life, green plants, ionizing radiation filtering, and the like. --- If so, what other effects might there be? How would a spherical surface effect the fresnel effect? I'm not looking for an 'alien' experience, per se, more of a... 'foreign' experience? $\endgroup$ Commented Oct 27, 2015 at 18:50
