Imagine this delay would happen to a hologram sitting at the table.. 0.2 sec delay would look really awkward, I think even 20ms delay would look awkward.. a 3d image moving its mouth out of sync looks like.. funny.. you'd be laughed at..

And failing to get eye contact right. Have you ever talked to somebody when the monitor and the camera were not properly aligned?
Mar 20, 2022 at 19:58 comment added Goodies Ah an om answer +1 about this "in the room" experience, if I understand the question right, using this brain device, people would fully experience the workplace themselves.. but it does not state a thing about how they are perceived by people who are actually present. There could be a hologram sitting at the table.. but would this hologram get coffee and make jokes ? I don't think so.
