I don't really have anything to depend on except my experience growing up on a farm. Most likely distance travelled by day would be 30+ mi per day avg travel. Don't forget the saddle blanket & break time means u pull the saddle off the horse. Treat ur horse as u would urself!!! U don't go on a long hike, take a break & leave ur backpack on, unless ur a complete moron. And brush the horse down. Their backs itch after a long ride.

Don't forget that travel time is reduced by caring for the horse time: break time means you pull the saddle & saddle blanket off the horse. Their backs itch after a long ride.
