    Hey There!
You may have heard from something called the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) that is n force for every company that collects data from individuals that live in the european union.

    1. Since I now need to be sure which of our wordpress plugins collect data and which do not and which give the collected data to third-party servers. So I have to ask:
does the plugin “Activity Log” collect any personal data from the user? (Names, Email Adresses, IP Adresses, Credit Card Numbers, Images etc)
    2. And if so, what personal data gets collected?
    3. What happens with the collected data?
    4. Do they get send to another server, is it stored?
    5. How long is it stored?
    6. Are there any third party services involved to which any personal data or images are send?
    7. If so, which data get send to third party services?

I would be really grateful, if you could answer these questions so I could be sure, your plugin is compliant with the GDPR Law.
Thank you very much in advance!

    Have a good day,
    Nicola

We’re working on an update for GDPR in the coming days, but I’ll try to answer a few questions you’ve asked:

    1. does the plugin “Activity Log” collect any personal data from the user? (Names, Email Adresses, IP Adresses, Credit Card Numbers, Images etc) And if so, what personal data gets collected?

Activity Log collect IP and Email – as far as we know – just from the Logged-In users, comments, form submissions, not from the visitors.

    2. What happens with the collected data?

Saved on your site’s database, like any other content on your site.

    3. Do they get send to another server, is it stored?

    No.

    4. How long is it stored?

By default for 30 days, but you can change it in the settings page of the plugin.

    5. Are there any third party services involved to which any personal data or images are send?

    No.

    Thanks
