We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team. The Retail Operations Manager will work closely with the Head of Department and Store Manager to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our retail stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and the ability to drive sales and improve customer service standards.
A - Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all departments.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Sales and Profitability:
Collaborate with the Store Manager to set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Implement promotional activities and merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
Customer Service:
Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Implement customer service initiatives to enhance the shopping experience.
Financial Management:
Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
Monitor and control operational expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
Prepare and present financial reports to the Head of Department.
Store Presentation:
Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing.
Oversee merchandising and product displays to optimize the store layout.
Implement seasonal and promotional displays in coordination with the marketing team.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the Head of Department and other key stakeholders to align operational strategies.
Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Attend regular meetings and contribute to strategic planning sessions.
B - Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in retail management (luxury & non-luxury), preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in using retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
