Mitch Rotter has been upped to senior VP of marketing and product development for Universal Music Distribution. Rotter, who had been veep of marketing, will be responsible for developing products, services and marketing tools as well as overseeing central marketing support for all products.

Participant Media has named Laurie Luh senior director of human resources and office operations. She has been with the company since 2004 and most recently oversaw its intern program. She also coordinated the design and construction of Participant’s eco-friendly offices in BevHills.
