How to expand variable within a single-quoted argument?
I am trying to perform the following without luck:
SORT_BY='-k3,3r -k2,2 -k1,1r'
awk 'NR<4{print $0;next}{print $0 | sort '"${SORT_BY}"' -t"~"}'
I have tried with all sorts of quotes, unquote, ...
