We are looking for Portfolio Migration Analysts to join an asset management client based in Central London. This is a 12-month contract requiring you to work five days in the office.
This role is part of Client Operations and has the main responsibility for all aspects of onboarding institutional accounts, accounting portfolios, managing cash, generating client reports, and acting as the main point of contact for any client inquiries related to operations. These functions cover a wide range of clients and a complex range of products, including equities, fixed income, currency, and derivatives. The group supports portfolio managers, sales professionals, and client relationship managers by providing accurate and timely information about client accounts and overseeing operational risk across portfolios. This involves extensive collaboration with both internal and external parties to ensure effective supervision of existing business and to develop and implement solutions for new clients, products, strategies, and system architecture. The group prioritizes delivering an exceptional client experience and works closely with the business to maintain and strengthen client relationships. We are seeking someone with experience in project management, although this is not a dedicated project management role.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensure the project is delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Understand operational risks within the team and actively work to mitigate risks.
- Holistic ownership and understanding of client accounts from a business Operations perspective by coordinating client events and issues across all operations teams and business partners.
- Coordinate and manage tasks across a multi-disciplined team to ensure key deliverables are met.
- Proactively review indicators of operational issues/concerns with the goal of resolving such issues before client impact.
- Apply process reengineering methodologies in executing strategies and tactical solutions.
- Migration of portfolios from one IA system to another.
Requirements
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong risk management principles.
- Onboarding and client implementation experience.
- Understanding of asset management.
- Understanding of custodians.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple portfolio migrations at the same time.
Benefits
12-month contract paying in the region of £65-£70k.
