As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled M&E Technician to join our mobile Service & Maintenance team.
In this role, you are responsible for the inspection, operation, and maintenance of all equipment across a portfolio of buildings within the Midlands, UK. Additional focus will be on fault identification, communication, and providing solution recommendations. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be forward thinking and continuously engaged in problem identification and solution.
What We Offer
As a M&E Engineer, you will be an integral part of our service team, focused on delivering top-tier maintenance services on all M&E equipment. This role is mobile, predominantly within the Midlands, but might occasionally require traveling to other locations.
In this role you will work to SFG20 standards for planned preventative maintenance and have experience of mechanical/electrical plant room equipment- air handling units, pumps, motors, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, booster sets.
Our team of engineers modify electrical wiring system as and when required. We take the ownership of installation, maintenance and repair all electrical and mechanical systems under the contract.
The main purpose of the role is to ensure all plant equipment operates in its most efficient condition; support development of the asset replacement programme and assist management in energy savings initiatives through equipment operation and execution of energy saving projects.

Required
What we look for
- Relevant qualifications: High diploma level in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or completion of an apprenticeship program.
- Proven experience in experience in M&E operations and maintenance, preferably in a mobile role.
- In-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs.
- A full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different working environments.
- Computer literate (BMS, CMMS, Word, Excel, Project, Power Point etc)
- 18th edition electrical qualification: experience and qualification for electrical installation.
- F-Gas 2079 qualification and ability to work on AC systems.
