Job Description

Your role will be to provide excellent service and support to our instruments and customers. This includes preventive maintenance, safety repairs, installing, upgrading, and qualifying instruments such as IQ/OQ.
You will also resolve issues through hardware and software troubleshooting. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you will communicate with customers via email and telephone to ensure resolution and follow-up.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of the performance data of the equipment, service records, and the stock of spare parts.
You will work with colleagues in the wider UK sales team to ensure customer needs are met.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you have an HND in Engineering or in a comparable field, as well as at least 2 years of experience in equipment support for biotech instrumentation, field service repair, fluid control systems, and system-level electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
This role requires excellent computer networking, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Experience with flow cytometry and/or laser, or imaging systems is desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and able to travel up to 80% of their working time, including occasional international travel.
The preferred location for this role is London.
