We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Analyst/ System Analyst

Principle Responsibilities

• Work as part of API Design and analysis team with responsibility for analysis of existing system and documenting data model, workflow and domain model
• Identifying and defining the business needs of clients and stakeholders. This involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting detailed business requirements.
• Conducting thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, data, and systems. This could include performing SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), process modeling, and data analysis to understand the current state and identify improvement opportunities.
• Creating detailed documentation of business requirements, project specifications, and other relevant information. This also involves maintaining and updating requirements as the project evolves.
• Collaborate with API Service Architects/Solution architects and other teams in the organization
• Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures and timely escalate major project risks & issues to senior management.
• Provide professional consultancy/support immediately for application teams’ queries/requests
  
  

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business / System Analyst to join our team, focusing on financial and corporate services. This role is ideal for a candidate with a deep understanding of the financial services domain, particularly in areas such as stock issuance, transfer agent services, share transfer and various other financial services. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing our business processes and technological capabilities.

• Analysis of Existing ESB System: Conduct thorough analysis of the current ESB system to understand its capabilities, limitations, and areas for improvement. This involves assessing how well the system supports various business processes, identifying any technical issues, and suggesting how it can be transformed from ESBs to API and microservices.
• Documentation of Data Model: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of the data model. This includes detailing how data is structured, stored, accessed, and managed within the system. The documentation should provide a clear understanding of the relationships between different data elements and how they support business functions.
• Documenting Workflow Processes: Create detailed workflow documentation that outlines various business processes supported by the system. This should include step-by-step descriptions of procedures, decision points, data flows, and user interactions, ensuring clarity in how processes are executed and managed.
• Generate Work Package for Aligning ESB with System Domain Model: Develop a structured work package that outlines the steps necessary to align the existing ESB system behavior with the overall system domain model. This task involves bridging the gap between current system functionalities and the desired state, ensuring that the ESB system effectively supports the domain-specific needs and workflows.
• Domain-Specific Analysis: Perform specialized analysis relevant to the domain such as financial and corporate services, primarily focusing on stock registration, employee equity plans, proxy solicitation, and other financial services.
  
  

What You Will Need To Succeed In The Role

• Have deep experience as a Business / System Analyst in Financial systems and banking services. Good to have knowledge on stock issuance, transfer agent services, share transfer and various other financial services.
• Have experience with defining complex business processes, analyze data, and extract actionable insights. This involves critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Have experience in participating and driving technology strategy.
• Good knowledge on ESB (RabitMQ), API and microservices technologies. Good understanding on REST, SOAP protocols
• Hands on modeling APIs using Domain Driven design principles.
• Have good knowledge on cloud services (Azure) and it’s impact on technology strategy
• Have good knowledge on open banking standard.
• Collaboration on QA test case generation to support efficient and timely testing of APIs
• Agile and scrum methodology
• Strong communication, presentation & influencing skills, able to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural, diverse work environments.
• Managing stakeholders across different time zone
