    The Bleeding Disorders priority setting partnership (PSP) is comprised of members from all areas of the health care services and from patients groups and organisations. The aim of the PSP is to identify the 10 most important unanswered questions about bleeding disorders so that we can help direct research into this area and attract funding.

The JLA is a non-profit making initiative which is a branch of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). The experience of the JLA with conducting PSPs is helping us shape and organise this project.     Rohan, our wonderful son and the reason for this run was born with severe haemophilia, a blood-clotting disorder that can have disastrous consequences, if not managed properly.

    Our family always say "he is the bravest person we know" because of his strength and courage to manage without fuss, four to five injections each and every week into his vein.

    Coping with this has been a real family effort but none more so than Rohan who started to, unbelievably, administer his own…

    Rohan, our wonderful son and the reason for this run was born with severe haemophilia, a blood-clotting disorder that can have disastrous consequences, if not managed properly.

    Our family always say "he is the bravest person we know" because of his strength and courage to manage without fuss, four to five injections each and every week into his vein.

    Coping with this has been a real family effort but none more so than Rohan who started to, unbelievably, administer his own injections at the age of 9 and his strength made this terrible disorder more bearable.
