Lightbulb moment💡 WHAT IF, D365 customers actually hired the right resources at the beginning of their implementation 😮😮 Time and again I speak with D365 customers who have had very messy implementation lifecycles They have gone on for far longer than necessary and has subsequently cost the business far more money than if it was properly planned out at the beginning with the appropriate resources🤔 If done correctly in the first instance, a business will reap the following rewards: ✅Expertise ✅Efficiency ✅Customisation specific to the business needs (where absolutely necessary) ✅Risk Management - THIS IS A HUGE ONE ✅User Adoption ✅Stakeholder Management ✅Scalability (If there’s anything I’ve missed, feel free to share!) In summary, just do the right thing, hire the right team at the early stages and the rest will take care of itself How important is it to adopt the right resources as early as possible on D365FO Projects?

"It is a dilemma with many competing and conflicting demands which is compounded by the simple truth that ERP users do not really know what they want. This plays into the hands of the various ERP parties who are happy to promise everything and anything in order to ensure they win the selection decision." I believe all front-line ERP users clearly know that the they want such an ERP - that is easy to operate instead of an ERP that demands them to remember and invoke program names called as "transaction code". - that seamlessly integrates data entered by all ERP users so they don't have to maintain multiple copies of data sets. - that responds in less than one second to user's CRUD operations. - that its CRUD screen is so clean that they don't have to respond to many dialog boxes or to fill in many fields they themselves never use. - that each CRUD screen, each field on CRUD, and each report can be maintained by IT to provide on-line description. - that the accounting staff can close accounts in minutes or even seconds instead of 43 days. - that outputs correct data. - that automatically allows its users to download all data sets displayed on every CRUD screen, and vice and versa - to upload files to the tables on every CRUD screen. I also believe that ERP users at the management level know clearly that they want an ERP that gives them easy access to on-the-go statistical reporting in seconds. These ERP users don't need any fancy "advanced features" such as dashboards that display real-time data with graphs, symbols, and alerts until the above must-have requirements are met. Nor will they need so-called AI for the foreseeable future, unless the organizations that pay their salaries are in trouble with too much cash.
