supportive infrastructure should be developed that allows interoperable multi-source data sets to be
used in predictive analysis in a way that ensures individuals’ data privacy requirements are met. Once
this has been achieved, there may be the opportunity to use the insights from predictive models to
inform network-level health system strategies. The outputs from predictive models could be used to
direct the use of health services according to an individual’s anticipated clinical need and taking into
consideration the forecasted capacity constraints of the health care service.
