The first 100 days of the new Labour Government will be critical to outlining its ambitions during its time in office. A key part of that must be addressing the housing crisis and making immediate changes to the planning system and so it’s hugely encouraging to see announcements already being made. Our recently released paper, ‘From Scarcity to Stability: Planning for the Future of Housing’ outlines our recommendations for the new Government’s immediate time in office and longer term. Scroll through the below to see our thoughts on what Labour should do with their first 100 days to help tackle the housing crisis 👉 The full paper is available here: https://lnkd.in/eqYv7izP For further information please contact Stephen Bell, Dave Trimingham, Tim Burden or Anna Relph. #GeneralElection2024 #Election2024 #planning #housing

We're delighted to see the sensory garden taking shape at The Fifth Trust. Co-owner, Tim Burden, whose sister attends the centre, nominated the charity to receive funding from our Charitable Trust.
We would like to thank Turley for their generous donation of £7,500 to our sensory garden project. Tim Burden, a Director at Turley, visited our Barham Skills Centre on Friday 12 July with his mum and his sister Sam, who is a student of The Fifth Trust. Their visit was a wonderful opportunity for our Care & Operations Manager Mike Theoff to showcase the progress we’ve made so far in creating a tranquil and engaging outdoor space for our students with learning disabilities. Thank you Turley for your support - we look forward to sharing more updates as our sensory garden blossoms! #CommunitySupport #SensoryGarden #TheFifthTrust

On behalf of Vastint UK, we have submitted a planning application for the final phase of Aire Park Masterplan, the 24-acre mixed use district on Leeds’ South Bank. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/d5Re4hEY We provided expert Planning, Strategic Communications, EIA and Townscape services, supporting the transformation of the former brownfield site into a vibrant new destination. The plans for the second phase feature 502 high-quality homes, including affordable housing, over 20,000 sq ft of flexible, ground floor space for leisure use, including cafes, restaurants and cultural activities, and a new multi storey car park. Phase two of the masterplan strategically connects the South Bank to the city centre and Leeds Dock, creating an accessible and safe route for pedestrians and cyclists whilst reducing traffic flows through the site. #AirePark #Leeds #PlanningSubmission
