    Honoured to have attended my fourth #MarketingRoundtable DACH these time as Global SEO Lead Tresorit hosted by Strategy Insights yesterday – what an inspiring experience! The evolution of #AI tool adoption from last year to now has been nothing short of extraordinary. We've gone from "Yeah, we use ChatGPT occasionally" to bespoke solutions and AI-powered: 🤜 video creation, 🤜 image generation, 🤜 analytics, 🤜 customer support, 🤜 competitor analysis, and even social media community management What truly excites me is that #socialmediamarketing has finally cemented its place in the digital marketing mix. For too long, these platforms were underestimated or dismissed as revenue generators. Times are changing, and for the better. As in previous years, I had the privilege of moderating the Strategic SEO Roundtable. My key takeaway? SEO still struggles to be recognised as a truly great revenue channel, especially in the age of ad blockers and AI-generated summaries. #SEO, #PPC, and #socialmedia are still viewed in silos – the holistic approach remains elusive. But who knows, maybe next time I'll be pleasantly surprised to see a surge in understanding, much like the AI boom we're witnessing. A huge #thankyou for all the messages I've received on LinkedIn, affirming that my passion for SEO and holistic marketing shines through 🐧 As always, I'm open to questions, discussions, and collaboration.     This past AI week, I participated at the AI London Summit and moderated several aside roundtable discussions with business representatives (thanks to Strategy Insights Berina Tortoshi and all participants) on the topic of AI implementation. Some key insights include: ✅The importance of computational superpowers and the enhancement of AI models is paramount (as Leopold Aschenbrenner also discusses in his 165-pages essay «Situational Awareness: The Decade Ahead» https://lnkd.in/e2P9rdiW). ✅AI governance is becoming a critical issue, with regulators strengthening their teams and developing future strategies to manage this rapidly growing sector. It is widely understood that the EU AI Act will have a direct or indirect impact on all jurisdictions and businesses, regardless of location. ✅Companies are still in the early stages of creating AI policies, but employees are often the driving force, experimenting with AI products and then transferring their experience to their employer’s operations (companies declare serious intentions to purchase appropriate licenses for integrating AI solutions into their infrastrucure) ✅Businesses are beginning to address the organisational development of AI, elevating the topic to the board level, appointing Chief AI Officers (CAIOs), and discussing ethical AI implementation. They recognise that regulators are struggling to keep pace with the market and are shifting some of the ethical responsibilities to businesses, at least until detailed guidelines and policies are developed. Thus, business ethics are evolving gradually. ✅Data security and cybersecurity remain the top priorities on company agendas. ✅The AI market is anticipating increased market concentration at the big tech level. Global regulators and consultants are highly concerned about the privacy of big data being accumulated by medium-sized AI companies. While these companies have achieved widespread adoption, they are unlikely to compete with big tech, and the future privacy of the big data they have amassed is unpredictable.
