About us
Stand Tall is a Yorkshire-based communications consultancy offering communications strategy, PR, events and content creation to brands on a mission. Stand Tall was founded by me, Gina Stringer. I'm an experienced, creative, very tall communicator with a passion for storytelling. I’ve been building buzz for brands since 2011, most recently at the much-loved, Yorkshire Tea. At six feet, I'm often the tallest woman in the room. It took me a long time to learn that blending in isn't for me, my height is my superpower. Stand Tall was born out of this belief, that what makes us different is what makes us special. And the same is true for brands. With a track record of excellent campaigns that have helped many FMCG & lifestyle brands grow and sparkle, I’m now setting sail solo for companies across the UK. My approach marries fresh ideas with strong relationships and a clear purpose to tell stories that people pay attention to and that your team can be really proud of!

Throwback to one of our favourite projects this year, supporting the team at coffee roasters Lincoln & York plan a sensational 30th birthday celebration during this year’s The London Coffee Festival We worked with L&Y’s marketing manager to: ☕️ Shortlist & recce venues ☕️ Mood board ideas for decor, food, drinks & goody bags (the personalised coffee cocktails were 👌🏻) ☕️ Decide timings & running order The event flowed really well, looked the part and the sun even made an appearance alongside over 100 guests ☀️🙌🏻

I’ve spent much of this week zombified at my laptop drafting copy for a client’s new website. I love words. I spent four years at University of Bath as a student journalist. I once had a current affairs blog called ‘Gina & Topics’. I write poems for friends & family on special occasions. But the last few years have seen a huge shift in our attention spans. We don’t consume words like we used to. We want brands to get to the point, fast. Smart Brevity is my bible and a must-read for anyone in comms. This quote has been my ethos this week and a reminder to us all for our marketing copy to use words wisely 👩🏻💻
