About us

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is a true luxury house, crafting the world’s most desirable Bespoke products. The Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, West Sussex, comprises both its global headquarters and manufacturing facility – the only place in the world where Rolls-Royce motor cars are designed, engineered and meticulously built by hand. Phantom leads the marque’s product portfolio, which also includes Ghost, Cullinan and the all-electric Spectre. Black Badge offers clients darker, subversive incarnations of Ghost and Cullinan. Every motor car hand-built at the Home of Rolls-Royce includes some element of Bespoke, the company’s unique programme offering personalisation possibilities which are limited only by the client’s imagination. Bespoke finds its ultimate expression in Coachbuild, in which Rolls-Royce and the client co-create every detail of the motor car, including its physical form. In 2023, Rolls-Royce commissioned its first independent economic impact study. This revealed a total contribution to the UK economy of over £4 billion since 2003, and now over £500 million annually. More than 2,500 people work at the Home of Rolls-Royce, and the company supports a further 7,500 jobs in its wider supply chain. Every year its Future Talent programme supports over 100 Apprenticeship, Internship and Graduate Placement positions. The Home of Rolls-Royce is also home to the celebrated Rolls-Royce Apiary with its 250,000 European honeybees. And through its Wildlife Garden and collaborations with the adjoining Goodwood Estate, the company supports local wildlife and biodiversity. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is a wholly owned subsidiary of BMW Group. It is entirely separate from and unrelated to aircraft engine and propulsion systems manufacturer Rolls-Royce plc. #InspiringGreatness #BespokeIsRollsRoyce

I was deeply shocked by the reports from Germany concerning Ian Cameron, who was the Director of Design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars from 1999 - 2012. Ian played a significant role in shaping Rolls-Royce from when it was first acquired by BMW Group and moved to its Home at Goodwood, West Sussex. During Ian’s tenure, he led the design team for all Phantom family and Ghost models, creating thoroughly contemporary motor cars that remained sympathetic to the marque’s design lineage. My thoughts are with Ian's family and friends during this very difficult time.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is delighted to unveil a trio of one-of-one Bespoke motor cars, inspired by the vision of the marque’s founders, crafted for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The enchanting assemblage will be on display on the Festival's Laundry Green, and includes Phantom Extended, Ghost and Spectre. Each motor car is a unique expression of the peerless craftsmanship for which Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is synonymous. Displayed alongside them, and making its UK public debut, will be the latest evolution of Cullinan, the world’s pre-eminent super-luxury SUV. The Festival of Speed is an important highlight in our annual calendar. Set in the remarkable grounds of the historic Goodwood Estate, it is just a stone's throw away from the Home of Rolls-Royce. #InspiringGreatness #BespokeIsRollsRoyce - Spectre: WLTP: Power consumption: 2.6-2.8 mi/kWh / 23.6-22.2 kWh/100km. This year marks our fourth consecutive year of participating in Dare to Dream, a mentoring scheme dedicated to helping students realise their potential and overcome personal barriers to success. Throughout this school year, 15 volunteers from Rolls-Royce have mentored Year 9 students from Chichester Free School, Bourne Community College, and Ormiston Six Villages Academy, all local to the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood. For the first time, our apprentices joined the mentorship programme, sharing their knowledge and experiences with the young participants. By encouraging students to look beyond their school and home environments, this mentorship programme inspires aspirational thinking and motivates them to tackle future challenges. Through sharing their own journeys, which often diverge from traditional educational and career paths, our mentors show that opportunities are always within reach. #InspiringGreatness

This year, our longstanding partnership with The March CE Primary School continued as we supported their Greenpower 'Gathering of Goblins' entry. The competition is run by The Greenpower Education Trust to inspire young minds in science and engineering. In a collaborative effort, teams from Years 5 and 6 worked alongside our Apprentices and Interns, transforming their innovative designs into reality. With designs finalised, our future talent from the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood joined the STEM Club to assist in building the cars, even incorporating actual materials used in Rolls-Royce motor cars. Our Apprentices also provided crucial support in driver training, test-driving, and pit-stop practice, all in preparation for race day which took place at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, less than a mile away from the school and Home of Rolls-Royce. #InspiringGreatness

As we celebrate our 120th anniversary this year, we were delighted to join the 2024 Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club (RREC) Annual Rally and Concours d'Elegance. As a regular guest at the event, it is the largest annual gathering of historic Rolls-Royce motor cars, their owners and admirers anywhere in the world. Regarded as one of the most glamorous and spectacular events in the entire motoring calendar, hundreds of Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars were displayed in front of Burghley House, one of the finest stately homes in Britain. Amid all the historic motor cars spanning more than a century, we presented Bespoke examples from all the model families designed and hand-built at the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood: Phantom, Ghost, Cullinan and Spectre. Thank you to all those that attended the weekend and visited the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars stand. #InspiringGreatness #BespokeIsRollsRoyce - WLTP: Power consumption: 23.6-22.2 kWh/100 km / 2.6-2.8 mi/kWh / 23.6-22.2 kWh/100 km; Electric range 500-530 km / 311-329 miles; CO2 emissions 0g/km. Ibiza Town is lively and animated, with a rich architectural heritage. Yet the majority of the island is rural, dotted with ancient villages and quiet roads – all set in the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean. Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II delivers the hallmark Magic Carpet Ride across all terrains. Delivering these exacting demands and resolving a younger and more expressive evolution of Cullinan’s styling are upsized 23-inch wheels – the first time we have made 23-inch wheels available for Cullinan. Each wheel is milled from a billet of aluminium, and the three-dimensional and faceted seven-spoke design is available in a part or fully polished finish. #RollsRoyceCullinan - WLTP (combined) CO2 emission: 380-363 g/km; Fuel consumption: 16.8-17.7 mpg / 16.8-16.0 l/100km.
