Wow - €11M for a 1MW electrolyser. Would be interesting to see the techno-economic modelling. Oort Energy (established less than 3 years ago) have raised about €8M in total (of which ~€0.75M is grants for innovation) and: - have built a cohesive team, - have built a test and innovation laboratory as well as a factory capable of manufacturing 12 MW per annum, - have developed, scaled and deployed our next generation, high performance, electrolysers into the field coupled to renewable energy, - have had our systems certified by a notified body and have had them CE marked, - have developed a quality management system to ensure “right first time”, - are developing a high pressure (200bar) electrolyser, to be tested on a refinery in 2025, - and are on track for factory acceptance testing of our first 1MW electrolyser in early August this year which will be used to make green ammonia. One of our core principles is to stay lean (and stay green). (We’re getting there 😉.) We have some exciting news! A new era for Prosemino! On July 18th, we’re opening a state-of-the-art laboratory for deep tech companies focused on accelerating sustainable energy. This expands our existing facilities allowing us to work on game-changing technologies in areas such as energy storage, hydrogen, carbon capture and advanced materials. Event will consist of keynote talks, networking and a tour of the Prosemino labs. A few spaces left so drop me a message if you’re interested! We're very excited about what this will bring! The newly announced 'National Wealth Fund' is allocating £500m for green hydrogen projects in the UK. We're delighted to see that the new government is recognizing that investment into green technologies is the solution to both the climate crisis and economic growth. We're looking forwards to seeing how Oort Energy can be a major driver in the UK transition to net-zero!

It is a testament to the excellent and reactive team you have at Oort Energy from engineering design through to the realisation, thanks to Alex Shields, Joe Howell, Luke Gladders and Marcus Bull to name just a few of the team.
