What do you do when there are no charging spaces free? 😮 First, if they’re around, we’d suggest checking in with your fellow EV owners - someone might be about to leave and, hey presto, you have a space! 🙌 Sometimes, however, you might have no time to waste - don’t panic! Simply head into the Electroverse app and tap on the ‘List’ function to the side of the map and a bunch of nearby chargers will appear. 👀 Then, tap on one of the charging locations and hit the navigation button to head to another charger! 🎉🔌 Watch the video below for a walk-through of the ‘Nearby’ chargers feature! ⚡

When we say OCPI, what springs to mind? 🤔 We’re sure many, many electrifying things - and we’ve got one more to add! We’re excited to share that Matthew Penny, Senior Backend Engineer at Electroverse, is taking on the role of board member for the EVRoaming Foundation 👏 The EVRoaming Foundation aims to manage and improve the OCPI protocol (Open Charge Point Interface) whilst overall supporting roaming and #EV accessibility. Boosting public charging transparency since it was founded in 2020, The EVRoaming Foundation aims to improve the openness of public charging for charge point operators (CPOs), E-MSPs (e-mobility service providers) and consumers. 🤝 Matt Penny is joining Freshmile, ChargePoint, Gireve, Last Mile Solutions, NKL, and other new member, Plugsurfing on the board. We look forward to what these experts in the EV landscape bring to the development of the latest OCPI protocol! ⚡
