Move over Glastonbury, hello RecFest UK! 🎉 Yesterday, we joined industry leaders in talent acquisition to tackle the most pressing topics impacting organisations and job seekers. Our very own Khadijah Pandor joined a panel discussion on 'Breaking Barriers: Getting More Diverse Talent into Tech.' Moderated by Ehi Grace A (hackajob), Khadijah was joined by Ashleigh Ainsley FRSA (Colorintech & Black Tech Fest), Dave Simpson (Dojo), and Sandy Lacey-Aberdein (Houseful). The panel explored practical steps businesses can take to enhance diversity hiring, from increasing transparency and fostering a sense of belonging to tapping into new talent pools. Khadijah highlighted our Women in Tech and Non-Degree Programmes, which have helped over 100 people kickstart their tech careers. She emphasised how these initiatives break down educational barriers by focusing on potential and learning ability, allowing people from diverse backgrounds to enter the tech field.
