Octopus Energy Group’s Kraken launched its R&D hub for clean tech in Manchester last week and we are pleased to have partnered with them for this. This is the UK’s first energy tech superhub. It will be a testing hub for integrating third-party devices, such as Ecodan heat pumps, with Kraken, the fast-growing energy platform. James Chaplen, Mitsubishi Electric’s Residential Head of Product Marketing and Communications was at the opening of the centre. He said: “Mitsubishi Electric is delighted to partner Octopus Energy Group’s Kraken at the launch of their energy tech superhub. “As the UK’s largest manufacture of air source heat pumps and with training facilities in Manchester, integrating our Ecodan units to provide consumers with cheap and green energy from the grid will reduce the cost of home heating.” Read the full press release here: https://lnkd.in/eHhJVKPf #MitsubishiElectric #Ecodan #OctopusEnergy #Kraken #CleanEnergy
