Exciting partnership update: M&B and Reed in Partnership👏 We are thrilled to share the success of our recent partnership with Reed in Partnership, which was launched nationwide this past March. Since then, the dedicated team at Reed in Partnership have visited 150 businesses, providing invaluable support to our pubs and restaurants. In just a few months, this collaboration has led to 19 successful hires, including 6 key team members who joined our newly refurbished Harvester, Shorehouse. Driving sustainable operations at M&B with voltage optimisers🌍 At M&B, we are committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040. To support our ambitious sustainability goals, we've implemented many initiatives, including the adoption of voltage optimisers across our estate. Voltage optimisers act as transformers, reducing incoming voltage from around 240V to 220V. Partnering with specialist suppliers Powderdown220 and SavaWatt, we installed over 1,200 units across our businesses, taking on the biggest project of its kind in the UK. The results speak for themselves: embracing voltage optimisation technology has led to savings in electricity consumption between 5%-9%. These units have significantly reduced our carbon footprint, aligning perfectly with our sustainability goals. A huge well done to Matthew Lowry and our Energy Team for executing this complex project!
