🎶 🚍 Exciting news for transit! This summer, Masabi's innovative ticketing technology is powering an integrated ticketing pilot program for LA Metro and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association for the 2024 Hollywood Bowl summer season. Concert-goers can now buy their transit tickets along with their event tickets, making it easier to choose public transit. For more than 70 Hollywood Bowl shows this summer, Metro will provide QR codes powered by Masabi as the digital transit pass for attendees who bundle their concert ticket with a transit pass. Masabi delivered this solution in just two weeks, showing how quickly and efficiently we can deploy our technology. This seamless integration helps reduce traffic congestion and the need for parking, making the concert experience better by eliminating the stress of driving. Imagine the benefits of this feature for concerts and big events across the country. By making public transit the convenient choice, we can improve traffic flow, reduce parking demands, and offer a stress-free travel experience for event attendees everywhere. If you're interested in implementing this in your city, contact us to get a demo. More information about our launch with LA Metro can be found in the comments section.

We’re thrilled to announce a significant milestone here at Masabi: we were recently awarded a $97 million contract extension by New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), spanning up to 12 years. Since the 2016 launch of MTA’s eTix mobile ticketing service, Masabi’s software has become critical to railroad fare collection operations. Today, 70 percent of MNR and LIRR’s revenue is enabled by mobile ticketing. We’re delighted to be supporting the MTA in enhancing the TrainTime app and completing OMNY delivery, while continuing to create experiences that MTA riders love. MTA Chair and CEO Janno Lieber stated, "The new approach is going to give users the sense of interoperability they expect while limiting MTA's contractor risk and saving millions of dollars." The MTA's trust in us to manage the future of fare payment on the railroads is a testament to our capabilities, and we are excited to see what the next decade brings! 🚀 We are still buzzing with energy from the amazing experience at last week’s Transport Ticketing North America event! It was incredible to connect with so many partners and customers. A special highlight was presenting alongside RTD about our shared journey: from mobile ticketing in 2017 to Account-Based Ticketing in 2022 and beyond. Huge shoutout to our colleague Ashleigh Primm for her fantastic presentation with RTD, and to Steve Young for his insightful contributions to the panel on Account-Based Ticketing, showing how it can elevate the passenger experience without losing the features everyone relies on. Masabi was in full force with our stellar team: Lindsay Richardson, Tonya Anderson, Nancy Brooks, Brooke Duffy, Brandon Leonhard, Josh Nicklin, and Joe Eldridge. We can’t wait to see what next year’s event holds and look forward to participating again. Here’s to more innovation and collaboration! 💪✨ #TTNAM24
