Was a pleasure to be a part of this fundraising event for Skate 4 Education alongside EVERYONE ON BOARDS, Nan Feix, Tom Delion & Helena Long. With special thanks to Not Just Any for organising such a good time (and for somehow managing to fit a halfpipe AND a taco truck in our courtyard.)

¡Speaker announcement! Delighted to share the fantastic line-up for our first ever Rogue Talks event on 'Artificial Intelligence, Life & Death' on the 11th of July. Huge thank you to: Marlynn Wei, MD, JD, Yale- and Harvard-trained holistic psychiatrist, interdisciplinary artist, author, and founder of 'The Psychology of AI' newsletter. Dr. Wei's work on Elixir AI, an ongoing, participatory thought-experience, is a powerful and profoundly human exploration of the prospect of digital immortality. Cennydd Bowles, Technology ethicist, interaction designer, author of 'Future Ethics', and recent Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Elon University. Cennydd's work has informed the values and practices of technologists and designers across the world, and inspired a more intentional and meaningful way to approach building tech. Jonathan Stein, Researcher and technology writer. Jonathan's work and writings bring a much needed and often overlooked philosophical perspective to conversations on digital and AI, questioning what it means to be human in the face of a growing digital afterlife industry. Grief-tech, deadbots, a growing digital afterlife industry, and even-greater entanglement of our virtual and physical worlds. These are just some of the topics we'll explore in our first ever 𝗥𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 series event: Artificial Intelligence, Life & Death. Starting things light and not at all morbid for the first one, of course. Join us at the wharf for an evening of expert talks, drinks, and great conversation with people who are equally fascinated by all this ‘AI stuff.’ Speakers announced soon. 📅 : 11th July 2024 🕜: Doors open from 6.30pm You can find more details and reserve your spot using the link in the comments below 💀
