LG has been named the official partner of the Esports World Cup 2024! 🏆 Taking place until 25th August, this year’s edition will host competitions for 21 of the world’s biggest online games, including League of Legends, Overwatch and Fortnite, and feature over 1,500 professional athletes. LG UltraGear will take centre stage as the exclusive gaming monitor of the event for the third consecutive year. The acclaimed LG UltraGear 32GS95UE OLED gaming monitor will be prominently featured, plus more than 990 UltraGear gaming monitors will be utilised during league matches and showcased at LG’s booth. The annual LG 5-a-side tournament certainly delivered a spectacle ⚽️ 6 teams battled it out for the prestigious trophy and bragging rights in the office. It was defending champions OLEDin Dzeko who retained their crown after a hard fought final win 👑 Team captain Andy Wells said: “The lads were fantastic. There’s a desire to win running throughout LG so none of the games were easy, but the fitness, quality and drive of the lads pulled us through to take the trophy. It’s our second time as champions, so we’ve certainly got a target on our backs for the next tournament but we’re looking forward to battling for 3 in a row.
