The results of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF)’s latest plenary have been announced. The following countries have been removed: 🇹🇷 Turkey 🇯🇲 Jamaica The following countries have been added: 🇲🇨 Monaco 🇻🇪 Venezuela It was pointed out though that although Turkey and Jamaica have been removed or any country for that matter, they do not have a perfect AML regime and FATF will continue to monitor all countries. Just a reminder that the UK’s High Risk Third Country list mirrors FATFs list, so make sure you review you AML policies and procedures in light of this. #FATF #HRTC #AML

 🚀 Exciting news! 🚀 We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Eleanor Devey-Robson to Head of Customer Success at Legl. 🌟 Ellie joined Legl nearly 4 years ago, when our first customers were going live on the platform. Since then, she’s become a trusted advisor to many of the firms we work with, has been an incredible mentor to a number of our team members (both within and outside of our Customer Success team), and has learnt more than you might think possible about a law firm’s tech stack, operational processes and pain points. She is continuously learning and growing, and embodies the spirit of curiosity and positivity – and customer centricity – that we strive for at Legl across the entire business. In her new position, Ellie will continue to drive our customer success strategy, focusing on enhancing the overall customer experience and fostering long-term relationships. Her leadership will undoubtedly take our Customer Success team to new heights, as we strive to deliver even greater value to our clients. Thank you so much to J.P. Morgan and Alexandra Wyatt for inviting me to speak to the Future Female Leaders Forum yesterday with the incredibly talented Erica Young and Yanjie Long, CA. Erica had some great academic insights into networks, and Yanjie had an incredibly articulate investor-level view of what networks can prove valuable, while I mostly told embarrassing stories about standing on my own with a home-made flyer during London Legal Walk to try to drum up interest as I built my first startup. Love these kind of practical initiatives to bring networks together and share learnings, rather than just bemoaning that still only 2% or so of venture capital goes to female founders (but we should still shout about that, too). Thanks JPM! And thanks to my brilliant colleagues Eleanor Devey-Robson and Eleanor Bettley for joining and being so supportive!
