We are pleased that Hecate Grid, a joint venture between one of InfraRed’s value-add funds and Hecate Energy, has secured a $125 million credit facility with MUFG.   Hecate Grid develops, owns, and operates energy storage solutions to support the deployment of renewable energy sources in the US. Last week, we welcomed our investors to Munich for our annual Private Funds’ Investor Event – we discussed the achievements over the past year, the progress of our current strategies and delved into key investment trends and opportunities. A few highlights from the event: 1. Germany has always been a productive investment environment for us, as well as a location where we have longstanding investor relationships, so it was great to be able to hear from individuals involved with some of our German based portfolio companies: JOLT ENERGY, Deutsche GigaNetz GmbH and nexspace Data Centers 2. We have continued to transact across our strategies, and have successfully monetised several assets and platforms over the past year, reinforcing our investment strategy which is rooted in the mid-market and the secular trends of decarbonisation, digitalisation and demographic change 3. In the current market volatility, our team set-out the role our distinct approach to value creation and preservation will play in driving future success – highlighting our ongoing focus on delivering new, modern infrastructure within our value-add strategy Most importantly, it was great to spend time with our investors, as well as enjoying a bit of the Euros. #InvestorEvent #Munich

We’re in Munich this year for our annual Private Funds’ Investor Event, which meant we were able to take our investors to visit JOLT ENERGY, the ultra-fast EV charging business – a portfolio company in one of InfraRed’s value-add funds with its headquarters in Germany.   The Jolt Energy team took us through the inner workings of their ultra-fast chargers that thrive in grid constrained urban environments, as well as their exciting plans to install and operate a comprehensive network of chargers across Europe.   We also had a chance to have a play with some of the electric cars essential to the EV revolution. The asset has had a strong operational track record since commencing operations, and further adds to our growing North American energy transition portfolio.
