When candidates ask what the company culture is like: 🪩🎧✨💃
The Huel warehouse rave 2024 🎸 💃 Our new factory in the UK would have some spare space before all the kit arrived. So... ...we thought we'd have a big warehouse rave 🤠 It was our first time ever that the Huel global team of 300 people came together: 👫 for a business with 6 offices across US, UK and Germany it did wonders for togetherness. The cost was high but I think it was worth it. 🌍 traveling to a different country and navigating an HQ in the British countryside has an unexpected benefit of testing yourself, being exposed to different cultures and ultimately having a life experience 🎤 all the DJs and the band were people who work for Huel (thanks Ruvan Mendis, Emily Pennington, Liam Nicholson, Steven McGeagh, Liz Farris, Matthew Hymus, Maxwell Fiedel, Ollie Stevenson, Fawn Ostrer, Dav Gray). Seeing coworkers in another light breaks down all sorts of barriers and the amount of pride in the room is off the scale International businesses often have the conundrum of the cost versus benefit of bringing everyone together every once in awhile. For companies with tens of thousands of employees, it's hard to justify. For 300? I think so. Thoughts?!
