Global University Systems Canada, GUS Canada and University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) are delighted to announce a new partnership with the International American University (IAU) in Los Angeles, California. This fantastic collaboration opens up an incredible pathway for UNF graduates to further their education and pursue doctoral degrees at IAU, including the prestigious Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and Doctor of Management (DM). Here's to a future full of learning, growth, and limitless possibilities.

What an amazing outcome! Our partner, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences has announced its inaugural Women in Tech Scholarships at its University of Europe for Applied Sciences Dubai Campus. The scholarship programme is dedicated to supporting women pursuing technology-related degrees in the fields of data, tech and engineering. Congratulations to the first recipients of this prestigious award: Esther Wairimu, Heba Abedalbaki and Hadil Aziz Saeed Ahmed Alzeqri. They received their certificates during an official award ceremony from Prof. Dahlia M. and Prof. Dr. Eman AbuKhousa, at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences Dubai. We are incredibly proud of these future leaders.

A memorable moment for Global University Systems and our German institution, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences, with the launch of The Pink Bear Collaboration in partnership with renowned British artist LUAP (Paul Robinson). As part of this collaboration, Sagi Hartov, CEO of GUS Germany GmbH, announced the LUAP Pink Bear Scholarships—17 scholarships valued at €250,000 in total. This groundbreaking initiative aims to support aspiring students in their pursuit of higher education and is open to all applicants for undergraduate programmes across UE's faculties and German campuses. At GUS HQ, we are all tickled pink to see the success of this remarkable project!

We are always excited to celebrate the success of our institutions who are able to establish new partnerships to bolster the learning opportunities for students worldwide.   A new collaboration does just this – The University of Law has forged a partnership with the British University in Dubai, establishing a joint Centre for Legal Education and Research. This will serve the legal community in MENA region and provide exceptional learning opportunities for those passionate about establishing a career in the law.   Driven by Professor Andrea Nollent, Vice-Chancellor and CEO at The University of Law, and her team, this marks a significant milestone, combining the strengths of both institutions to offer unparalleled opportunities for law students and legal professionals in the UAE. 

Global University Systems believes in empowering students to change their lives through education. The team at University Canada West have brought this to life with a new initiative – a six-part series entitled, "Understanding Indigenous History: A Path Forward". Intended to better understand the complex history of Indigenous peoples in Canada, six hour-long episodes are hosted by award-winning Canadian broadcast journalist lisa laflamme, and feature interviews with prominent First Nations leader Phil Fontaine and internationally recognised human rights expert Kathleen Mahoney.    UCW President Professor Bashir Makhoul, PhD  “As an institution of higher learning, the best way UCW can contribute to furthering Truth and Reconciliation in Canada is through what we know best – education.”    Whether used in classrooms, libraries, homes or in the workplace, the films will spark interest and ignite a passion for lifelong learning and understanding, bridging the past with the present and paving the way for a brighter future.
