We teamed up with Deliveroo for our quarterly Women in Leadership event last night. We heard from four inspiring female leaders about their Leaps of Faith and changing career paths. Last week we held one of our biggest hackathons so far! 🙌 145 Getters, 17 teams and immeasurable amounts of energy and creativity! "Improve our Day-2-Day" was the theme, but what stood out the most is how much more impact can be achieved with diversity! 16 out of the 17 teams were a mix from a variety of business units. Marketing, Account Management, Sales, Operations, Product, and R&D all spread across Israel, UK, Cyprus and Poland came together, challenged each other and delivered some truly brilliant and innovative ideas! 💡 The fusion of different skills and viewpoints showcased the power of talent within Gett. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made this hackathon a success! We can't wait to see how these innovative ideas evolve and shape our future projects!

Gett is a unique company, our platform is solving challenging and sophisticated problems in the Mobility space, this is done via our amazing Product and R&D teams building the platform and equally important our amazing Commercial and Operation teams that take our platform to riders, drivers and businesses worldwide. This is why this year, we set ourselves to have a truly company-wide Hackathon, one that will allow people from all around Gett to work together, innovate and promote new ideas with the purpose of making our day 2 day better. It was amazing to see mix teams, with people coming from different places (Israel, Cyprus, United Kingdom, Poland, and more), and from different departments and having different skills and perspective (Customer Care, Account Managers, Finance, Marketing, Product and Engineering), all working together on challenging ideas, collaborating together to find the best solution, and working to bring them to reality in a short period. We had great ideas spreading from GenAI bots that are actually solving and improving Sales ops and our Customers interaction, new ideas to better tackle Customer’s problems (both Riders and Drivers), as well as ideas to improve our SDLC processes and our production management. There is a huge list of thank you to all the people that made it possible. First I want to thank the organizing team: Daniel Corcos, Roni Ron, Federico Dayan, Yevgeni Mumblat and Noa Rechnitz. Shira Zafrani for the amazing designs and graphics, and the entire Gett’s HR team that help organizing the event in each site, with a special thank you to Noa Rechnitz that orchestrated it all. And of course a huge thank you to all Getters that have participated, invested their time, collaborated and helped make this Hackathon a success. It was Fun, Rewarding, we had a lot of good Vibes, we Learned a lot (also things that will help us make future Hackathons even better), and there are a lot of great Ideas to take further.
