I know it may not feel like it in the UK, but globally we have just experienced the hottest June on record. But it is impacting our climate here as well. The cold winds coming down from the Arctic are a result of the destabilising of the polar vortex, due to the lower temperature difference between the tropics and the poles. Education is one of the most important sectors for AI innovation, as it can empower learners, educators, and administrators to achieve more with data-driven insights, personalized experiences, and collaborative tools. However, many educational institutions face challenges in adopting and integrating AI solutions that meet their specific needs and goals. I am excited to share a remarkable story IU International University of Applied Sciences is deploying their own AI learning assistant, Syntea, at scale and is partnering with Microsoft to integrate it into IU’s Copilot for M365 deployment.   This is a great example of how AI can transform education and how Microsoft is helping our partners and customers overcome their challenges and innovate with AI. I am proud of the work that our education team is doing to support International University with the deployment of Syntea, and I look forward to seeing more stories of AI impact in education globally. Yesterday was a very special day as we launched the IU Copilot School featuring Microsoft and I thought quite a lot about what to write and who to thank. Our CEO Sven Schütt already did thank Microsoft's management we worked with for the last couple of months, Quintus S. mentioned the unbelievable scope and many colleagues from IU. Countless amazing colleagues were working on this initiative with great passion and an enormous velocity. As Christian and I did meet in Nuremberg today, I remembered that with him and Henning we started to strengthen our partnership a year ago. Radoslaw Musielak as another valuable member of our account team joined soon afterwards. Also a big THANK YOU to all other Microsoft members who invested countless hours dealing with our requests, questions and issues. Special thanks to Isabel Bruns and Susann Huettner who built the foundation within Microsoft supporting us even before we became large.
