So pleased to share that I have launched a Military Veteran Support Group at DS Smith. We kicked off with our first coffee break where we spun dits with our oppos whilst enjoying a wet (in civilian speak we shared stories with our colleagues whilst enjoying a coffee) We have some amazing military veterans working at DS Smith and absolutely loved meeting them.

In 2023/24, we have delivered a resilient performance despite tough economic conditions, and we are pleased with the progress we have made. Our leadership in sustainability and the circular economy ideally positions us to maximise growth opportunities with new and existing customers as we partner on new innovative projects and value-added sustainable products and services. Efficiency is core to our Sustainability Strategy. We are committed to developing our plans in line with climate science and this year we have produced our first Net Zero Transition Plan to enable the transformation to Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and our science-based target for 2030. Brewing up some magic with #Carlsberg Poland! 🍻 Small changes can make a big difference when it comes to reducing packaging waste. That's why we've trialling new multi-packs with rounded corners, developed using our circular design expertise. Initial testing shows the rounded corner design reduces the empty space of the box by 4.2% and makes it almost 17% lighter than a box with 90 degree corners. And CO2 emissions will be cut by 224 tonnes a year once fully implemented! 🌿 The innovative shape also protects drinks in transit, while freeing up space for Carlsberg's iconic branding.
