The story reports that federal agencies in the U.S. need to invest heavily in solutions with artificial intelligence embedded in them and develop along the same path or get left behind by China. "If I run an analysis of AI-related research outputs in 2023 or 2024 – it doesn’t matter what the topic is, it could be artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicles or related technologies – it’s going to be China that’s first," Stephen Leicht says.
