About us

Brentford FC is a bit different to other Premier League football clubs. We put our fans first, we are a true community club and while we are financially sustainable, we are not afraid to take calculated risks. We take huge pride in our environment and culture within the Club which focuses on development, inclusion and not being afraid to think differently. Being progressive, humble and respectful while sticking together as one team across the Club guides how we work and the decisions we make each day. We also firmly believe that a diverse workforce is a better workforce which will help us develop ideas, solve problems and ultimately grow Brentford FC. We play in the Gtech Community Stadium, 15 minutes from Heathrow in vibrant west London. We will never forget where we have come from, but we are excited about the future that lies ahead.

Approximately twelve people aged 35 or under die suddenly from heart conditions in the UK every week. Robert Rowan, our former technical director, was one of those twelve when he passed away from a fatal cardiomyopathy episode in 2018, aged 28. Cardiac Risk in the Young deliver free cardiac screenings in the community to identify potentially life-threatening conditions and refer young people for further treatment. Cardiac screenings save young lives. Please support CRY's #12AWeek campaign and make a donation to fund heart screenings: https://lnkd.in/gjwUvgPE #BrentfordFC #HeartOfWestLondon

Brentford has today published its equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) report for 2024. The report outlines the club’s work in EDI in key areas - including staff and players - fans and community, and compliance. After an engaging programme of activity in 2023/24 culminated in a Football Business Awards win for our work in EDI, the report is an opportunity to review the impact of our achievements and progress so far, and look ahead to our plans for the new season. Brentford chief executive Jon Varney said: "Our values of togetherness, respectful and progressive are at the heart of everything we do at Brentford, and an engaging and varied EDI programme is an important part of us doing our part to make football for everyone. "Our continuing efforts in EDI cannot be done without the support from our staff, fans and our community.” Read the report: https://lnkd.in/en-XjDft

On Saturday 22 June, we held a free event at the Gtech Community Stadium to celebrate Windrush Day. More than 60 guests joined us to celebrate the Windrush generation and their descendants' contributions to Black Britain. The day began with an energetic performance by a steel drum band outside, while a reggae band played upstairs. The event featured children's artwork and activities, a photography exhibition of work by Neil Kenlock and a chance to explore local archives. There was also a dance workshop by Descendants, and storyteller Lady Paulette concluded the event with an adapted story of her mother's journey. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the celebrations. #BrentfordFC #BeeTogether

We are delighted to announce that our academy has been awarded Category Two status by the Premier League. The Bees will begin the 2024/25 season as a Category Two academy, while continuing to feed into the existing B team as an extension of the development pathway for young players. Plans to introduce age groups from under-9s to under-16s, as well as an under-21s side, are already underway. Stephen Torpey, academy director, said: “This represents the hard work from our dedicated staff and really highlights the rapid progression we have made since reintroducing our academy. Category Two will only help us further in developing the best young talent. We are really excited at what lies ahead.” Watch our video to hear Stephen’s comments on the progress we have made and read the full announcement on our website: https://lnkd.in/egmC87Yc #BrentfordFC

We've been named as winner of Best Guest Experience in The Padded Seat's 2024 awards for excellence in matchday hospitality experiences!   The Padded Seat, the leading social media company specialising in hospitality experience reviews, visited the Gtech Community Stadium in January for our FA Cup fixture vs Wolves. Their team enjoyed the game with a visit to our TW8 Restaurant and the Railway Lounge, and rated their time with us five stars for both our staff and value for money. They have awarded us this prize after their panel shortlisted Brentford in a multi-sport category of reviews they completed in the past year.   Shinead Davis, head of premium services, said: "So much work goes into making hospitality experiences at Brentford one of the best in the Premier League. We're thrilled to receive this award that celebrates our team's dedication to excellent customer service."   Watch The Padded Seat's review in the comments! #BrentfordFC
