It’s all gravy, baby 😋 Yesterday, we worked alongside Greene King to launch its new Farmhouse Kitchen in Worsley, Manchester! After pulling up a chair to the nation’s kitchen table, we tucked into a carvery plated up by Manchester’s very own Kym Marsh. Farmhouse Kitchen is the latest evolution of Greene King’s existing Farmhouse Inns brand, which calls for the public to join them and enjoy familiar family favourites. Winner, winner, Mancs go get your chicken dinner! #WeAreBrazenPR #GreeneKing #FarmHouseKitchen

Brazen. Born 2001. Reborn 2024. 😊 After 23 incredible years of owning and running Brazen, Tom Webb and I have sold 85% of our shares …. to our brilliant team. As we’ve become Employee Owned! When I set up Brazen PR as a young, fiery and fearless 27-year-old, little did I know what a legacy I’d create with my amazing team of Old Skool and New Skool Brazenites over the next 20+ years. I was on a mission: to make brands famous through daring and different PR campaigns. Two decades later and that still remains our clear point of difference and why our brilliant clients choose (and stay with) us. So, it was absolutely critical to me, when considering what ‘the exit plan’ would be, that Brazen’s special brand, proposition and people-powered culture lived on. Passing Brazen onto the team via an EOT felt absolutely right. Collaboration is one of our core values so there was no better way to demonstrate that than by putting the business in the hands of the amazing team of people that make it all possible. Brazen was, and will always be, my first baby and I’m excited to watch my legacy live on long into the future. We’ve not gone (yet!) and Tom and I will continue working with the board – with Sasha Makel (née Marks) and Peter Burling at the helm supported by our incredible ExCo, Corey Kitchener, Adam Moss, Sophia Stewart and David Renfrew and the rest of our SLT - to transition the agency into its new life as an EOT and deliver ‘JAWTOFLOOR®’ campaigns and award-winning results for our clients! And honestly I can’t wait to see what we can achieve next on Brazen’s ambitious growth journey… Stats show that EOTs outperform other businesses by +10% (vis a vis profits, team retention and growth), especially in tough economic times like these. Because employees feel more motivated and inspired by being more involved in decision making and sharing more in the commercial success of the business. Bring it on! Thank you to EVERYONE who has played a part in Brazen’s journey so far – to our team, our clients, our suppliers, our collaborators, our friends and families. Thanks to Martin Cooper & Jonathan Davage and teams at RSM & Bermans for the advice and legals. And finally, thank you to my late, inspirational Dad for giving me the balls to set up Brazen in the first place :) And thank you PRWeek & Eliza Wiredu for sharing our news 😊. Here’s to the next chapter.
