It's not everyday there's a live painting of the event we're attending! 🎨   Thank you to Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust for inviting us to another hospital as part of their Staff Wellbeing Festival. 💙   Our senior research executive, Katie McDougall, met Blue Light Card members at Nottingham City Hospital today.   Artist Paul Lillie was also in attendance, capturing the event with his incredible painting.

In recognition of our ‘We Invest In Wellbeing’ accreditation, which we achieved during Q4 2023, Shirley, Jasmine Green and Hayley Staff MCIPD attended the Investors in People Celebration event last week at Winstanley House in Leicester. We are now officially recognised and acknowledged as part of the IIW community! 💙

This May we wanted to say a small (but extra) thank you to our members. 💙   The month hosts a number of recognition days that fall within a week of each other – International Firefighters' Day, International Day of the Midwife and Nurses' Day.   We took the chance to give back to our members – in a small but very tasty way – with custom Blue Light Card cupcakes thanks to the very talented Claire Humphreys. 🍰   From Torquay to Greenock, and many places in between, we dished out over 350 cupcakes to nurses, midwives and firefighters across the Blue Light community.   A huge thank you to Cara, Jane, Paul and Sarah for surprising and delighting so many members. 👏
