It’s taken a long time, but we’re finally home! Over the last few years, we’ve tried all manner of ‘ways of working’. A WeWork, a flexible office space, working from home, all of which didn't feel quite right. We all missed the parts that made us not just a team but gave us a sense of identity and belonging. Being part of a team means hearing the banter, the noise, the (sometimes) dodgy music and of course the collaboration, ideation and energy. So we’ve taken the plunge and got ourselves a new permanent home and guess what? We love it! We're located near Ironmonger Row Baths in Old Street so we can go for a swim at lunch, sit in the park or just soak up the energy (and the food) in White Cross Market.  It’s been fantastic to see the team coming together and enjoying the benefits of our new space and with lots of clients coming over, we’re excited for the future! Oh, summer! The heat, the rosé, the light nights and the annual Biglight Party! And what a party we had at the beach-themed Neverland London, in Fulham. Our recent work with Jimmy Choo resulted in a commercially focused and evidence-based roadmap of client experience innovation that was specifically shaped to help Jimmy Choo capitalise on increasing traffic to their digital stores.   Having never undertaken customer experience research before, Jimmy Choo commissioned Biglight to lead the work - which we delivered in just five weeks providing our client with the insights to respond directly to under-served client needs and a customer journey that reflects real-world client behaviours.   Thank you to the amazing team that made this project so successful! Happy New Year 💫 We are making a bright start to 2024, working closely with our long-standing clients to ensure their ambitions will be achieved in this exciting year ahead. We would also like to welcome a new face, Dan Bradshaw, who joins Biglight in the role of Design Director. Dan joins the team with over 18 years of experience helping to craft creative, innovative and strategically led work across a broad range of verticals with global brands such as BMW Group, Virgin Atlantic, De Beers Group, Burberry, Marks and Spencer and the BBC. Dan is very much looking forward to working with all of the talent we have here at Biglight as well as helping existing and new clients elevate their digital experiences. Welcome on board Dan!

2023 is coming to an end and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished this year. We’re wrapping up our final face-to-face meetings of the year and this one in particular with Furniture Village has left our long-standing client with a rich collection of customer data that will set them up for a strong start to 2024.  After months of hard work - digging deep into the online and offline journey and in-depth customer interviews we presented Furniture Village with some exciting opportunities to elevate their CX roadmap based on key experience design principles. Our recent work with luxury brands has revealed that up to half of luxury clients start their digital purchase journeys on Google Shopping and that this figure could be up to 80% in just 12 months. This rise in third-party digital commerce means that clients barely interact with any aspect of a brand site beyond the product details page - threatening the customer experience and locking brands out of crucial customer data.
