Let the Games begin It was only a couple of weeks ago that I was extolling the virtues of getting back into the office and the energy and collaboration being joyfully self-evident. However what I didn’t take into account was the reintroduction of the competitive world of Team Sports, namely 5 Aside, fuelled on I dare say, by the competitiveness of the Euros and the adjoining sweepstake, which swept through the office with a sense of charm and rivalry. So whilst writing this, I am literally seeing one team member hobbling across the office, as they ‘‘got over excited’ (direct quote from another team player), the laughs, the smiles and the genuine affection the team have for each other is stuff that we reminisced about not so long ago. We hadn’t forgotten how to enjoy ourselves with team mates, it’s now just a whole lot easier. Now who won the Sweepstake?….they can buy the beers later.

It’s taken a long time, but we’re finally home! Over the last few years, we’ve tried all manner of ‘ways of working’. A WeWork, a flexible office space, working from home, all of which didn't feel quite right. We all missed the parts that made us not just a team but gave us a sense of identity and belonging. Being part of a team means hearing the banter, the noise, the (sometimes) dodgy music and of course the collaboration, ideation and energy. So we’ve taken the plunge and got ourselves a new permanent home and guess what? We love it! We're located near Ironmonger Row Baths in Old Street so we can go for a swim at lunch, sit in the park or just soak up the energy (and the food) in White Cross Market. It’s been fantastic to see the team coming together and enjoying the benefits of our new space and with lots of clients coming over, we’re excited for the future! Our recent work with luxury brands has revealed that up to half of luxury clients start their digital purchase journeys on Google Shopping and that this figure could be up to 80% in just 12 months.
