    Greece introduces 6-day working week 📢 In a bid to boost economic growth and improve productivity levels, Greece will now allow employees to work up to 48 hours a week instead of the usual 40. This new law, which came into effect in July, targets 24-hour industries and offers 40% extra pay for those who opt for the extra hours. This move comes as a surprise to other European and US workplaces as they all continue to look at adopting a 4-day working week. Trials of the four-day workweek have shown overwhelmingly positive results, boosting productivity and improving employee well-being. The biggest concern about Greece's six-day workweek is around its sustainability. Pushing workers to complete longer hours could lead to burnout, reducing overall productivity in the long run. In contrast, the four-day workweek helps employees stay refreshed and ready to work each week. Despite wanting to move faster and reach a quick decision, Amanda explained why taking time and involving various teams and individuals in the decision-making process is crucial.
