Irish #Fintech CEO: ‘It made a lot of sense for our third hub to be in Belfast’ 9fin’s CEO Steven Hunter employs around 25 people at Arthur Place in Belfast city centre. In total, it employs nearly 200 people across offices in London, Manhattan and now Belfast, where it’s had the assistance of Invest Northern Ireland. The amount of #Invest NI support has not been announced, though the economic development agency has confirmed that it helped secure the project and the creation of 23 jobs. Steven is now living in Brooklyn and oversees the growth of the company’s New York office, while co-founder Huss E. is chief technology officer and runs the London office. He says his roots in entrepreneurship go back to his childhood, growing up as one of three children “near the Birches roundabout” between Portadown and Dungannon.
