Palacios was honored as an All-Pac-12 Second Team and All-Defensive Team member in her first season with the Bruins … named to the NFCA West All-Region First Team … started in 45 games, including 33 at catcher, 10 as the designated player and one each at first base and right field … hit for a .311 batting average (38 hits), .598 slugging percentage and .403 on-base percentage … tied for third on the team with 10 home runs and ranked fourth with 33 runs batted in … logged three doubles and a triple … recorded 10 multi-RBI games and eight multi-hit games … threw out five runners attempting to steal (5-14) … led UCLA with a .990 fielding percentage (three errors in 286 chances) ... her season highlight was a go-ahead, three-run homer to left field in the seventh inning to break a tie at her former school, No. 24 Arizona (April 15) … launched another three-run homer, this time to right field, in her very next at-bat the following day in the first inning at Arizona (April 16) … suffered a season-ending injury to her left hand on a catcher’s interference versus Arizona State (April 22) … threw out two runners attempting to steal in her first game as a Bruin versus Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 9) … first hit as a Bruin was a two-run homer to right field versus CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 11) … notched two RBI singles the next game versus San Diego (Feb. 12) … homered in the second game of the San Diego double-header (Feb. 12) … went 3-for-4 with two RBI singles up the middle versus No. 8 Virginia Tech at the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational (Feb. 18) … hit the telephone pole on a moonshot homer to left-center field versus Louisiana at the Eddie C. Moore Complex (Feb. 19) … had a clutch throw out at third base to stop a would-be base stealer and end a three-run inning for Louisiana (Feb. 19) … hit a solo home run versus Iowa at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic (Feb. 24) … logged nine RBI across three games at the Judi Garman Classic (March 4-5) … went 3-for-4 with a grand slam and double versus Cal Poly at the Judi Garman Classic (March 4) … went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored versus Michigan (March 4) … hit a bases-clearing, three-RBI triple at Cal State Fullerton (March 5) … went 3-for-4 with a run scored in game three at California (March 12) … went 2-for-3 with an RBI single and run scored versus No. 10 Washington (March 17) … brought home two key insurance runs with a home run in the seventh inning at No. 19 Oregon (March 25) … hit a two-run homer in game two versus Oregon State (April 7) … hit an opposite field, solo homer at Long Beach State (April 19).
 
USA Softball (2022)
Palacios competed in the Japan All-Star Series and Canada Cup for Team USA over Summer 2022 ... in 10 games, she hit .471 (8-for-17) with two home runs, a triple and five RBI ... helped Team USA to a Canada Cup Championship title with her .571 batting average (8-for-14) and 1.143 slugging percentage (1 3B, 2 HR).
 
Arizona (2020-22)
Palacios started in 129 of Arizona’s 144 games the past three years prior to transferring to UCLA … totaled 122 hits, 128 RBI and 39 home runs in her Wildcat career … helped Arizona to two Women’s College World Series Appearances as the team’s primary designated player in 2021 and catcher in 2022 … two-time All-Pac-12 First Team and NFCA West All-Region Second Team honoree (2021, 2022) … hit for a .326 batting average, 20 home runs and 64 RBI in 2022 … hit the game-winning solo home run against Missouri to send Arizona to Super Regionals (May 28, 2022) … blasted a go-ahead, two-run homer versus Oklahoma State in the WCWS (June 2, 2022) ... hit three grand slams and 18 homers in her redshirt freshman season in 2021 … selected as a NFCA Division I Freshman of the Year Top 30 Finalist in 2021.

Palacios was a four-year letterwinner at Eastlake High School under head coach Tony Ritcher … ranked as the No. 38 recruit in the nation by Extra Inning Softball … her senior season, hit .566 with 11 homers and a 1.152 slugging … played club ball for the OC Batbusters under head coach Mike Stith with fellow Bruins Maya Brady and Janelle Meoño … named to the Premier Girls Fastpitch All-Tournament Team in 2019.
