Suspilne Ukraine will get access to 4 more biathlon seasons - until 2030. European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and IBU extend long-running biathlon media rights partnership until 2030. Suspilne Ukraine, as a member of the EBU, is the right holder and exclusive broadcaster of biathlon in Ukraine. Under the new agreement, the EBU and biathlon rights holders will have access to all IBU World Cup events, as well as IBU World Championships and other competitions, including the Youth/Junior World Championships, European Open, IBU Summer World Championships and the IBU Cup. The public broadcasters of the Baltic States and Ukraine conclude a Memorandum on cooperation in the event of a state of an emergency Recognising the significance of maintaining continuous exchange of information and public awareness during emergency situations, heads of the public broadcasters of the Baltic States and Ukraine have signed a Memorandum on cooperation. The agreement was signed on 4 July during the General Assembly of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU, Limassol. The purpose of the Memorandum is to promote solidarity and unity among EBU member organizations, to create a framework for cooperation and support among the public service media and to ensure their operational continuity during during emergencies. The agreement intends the establishment of mutual support mechanisms for the public service media of the Baltic States and Ukraine – Latvijas Televīzija, Latvijas Radio (Latvia), Eesti Rahvusringhääling(Estonia), LRT (Lithuania) and Suspilne (Ukraine). The agreement provides for the exchange of information and knowledge. Partners commit to assist any public service media that is unable to operate effectively in its home country due to an emergency in ensuring the continuity of its operations. Such assistance may include the exchange of technical resources and logistical support, among other forms of assistance. Suspilne partners with Media Center Ukraine. Suspilne Ukraine is launching a partnership with the Media Center Ukraine as part of the joint project, Suspilne Space. Beginning in July, Media Center Ukraine will be based in Urban Space 500, a comfortable public venue located at 9 Hrinchenko St. in Kyiv. From now on, all events will take place there. The partnership with Suspilne will bring forth new opportunities, leveraging its extensive resources in television and radio broadcasting, a robust regional network, and influential digital platforms. Media Center Ukraine remains committed to its current activities, including hosting briefings, public and private meetings, discussions, and debates. It will also maintain support services for both foreign and Ukrainian media. The Producer Department will continue to develop compelling new stories and topics while consistently expanding the Photobank library with regular updates. Supporting civil society and contributing to Ukraine's recovery and restoration efforts will underpin the new priorities for Media Center Ukraine. We plan to broaden our array of products and services to include training sessions, mentoring, and private discussions. The Media Center team will assist NGOs in organizing events and providing media support. This partnership between Media Center Ukraine and Suspilne is rooted in shared values: freedom of speech, openness, and a responsible approach to information. The new cooperation format will enable creative solutions and effective strategies to convey the truth about the war in Ukraine. Media Center Ukraine will also continue to work on flagship projects important to the community, such as the Black Sea Security Conference and Redkolegia.

Suspilne hosted a training on "Respect and Equality: Getting to know LGBTIQ+ people". The training discussed the basic concepts of the diversity of human identities related to gender and sexuality and the importance of integrating LGBTIQ+ issues into content. Read more ➡ https://lnkd.in/dCDYZfhY

Public Media Academy Juniors presented the board game "Media Busters" at the Global Media Forum. The game is designed for children and teenagers to promote critical thinking. Its main goal is to show what media consists of, how it works, and how it is created. Public Media Academy Juniors is actively implementing gamification of the educational process of children and teenagers to promote a new level of media education. After all, this is the key to the development and improvement of Ukrainian media standards.

🏳️🌈 Reminder that LGBT+ Flag Day is historically observed on June 25th. One of the most visible ways to support Pride is by changing a company's logo to the colors of the rainbow flag. In support of this initiative, Suspilne Broadcasting will change its logo on all digital platforms and radio websites from June 25th to June 30th, 2024. Additionally, on June 25th, the rainbow flag logo will be used across all channels of Suspilne. On the same day, a LGBT+ flag will be raised on the office building of Suspilne at Khreshchatyk, 26, as a symbol of solidarity and support for the community. This is Mariupol in 2003. These are the everyday life of a Ukrainian city, a happy childhood on the Azov Sea coast, and Azovstal's work. The city has not yet been destroyed by the Russian invasion, and Azovstal has not yet become a fortress for Ukrainian defenders. Looking at this video, it is painful to realize the consequences of the war that Russia started. Suspilne Ukraine received a special award at the Kyiv Pride Awards as one of the organizations that promotes equality and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community in Ukraine. The symbolic winners were announced on June 9 during the annual KyivPride charity educational festival.
