It ended with us being lectured for hours. Then ironically being dropped outside a police station to sort out a new 1 day visa and pay the fine. I say ironically because at this point we had no valid Visa and were left unmonitored in a small border town. Had they let us continue over the border we would have broken the Visa for less time. | |

Yes, they threatened to destroy my passport and put me in jail for 20 years for illegal Immigration (because I wasn't checked on entry and so didn't get a Migration Card, but was checked on Exit), but when I remained unafraid they eventually backed off | |
