If not, they probably won’t check anything at all about visa status and related things like time left in the passport validity. But isn’t it just easier to renew the passport before then? | |

(Schengen Border Code Article 6 (Entry conditions for third-country nationals) (1)(a)(i): its [valid travel document] validity shall extend at least three months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States.) The Norwegian Cruise Line faq site makes no meantion of a 3 (or 6) months of remaining validity of a passport, only that a passport is required by non EU citizens. | |
