For example, if you have a transit visa but your departing flight leaves JFK 23 hours after you arrive there, you are allowed to visit Manhattan. Doc: the claim that transit means leaving from a nearby airport is not consistent with the fact that transit under a transit visa can last for up to 29 days. | |
