2Can't you travel to Jakarta just for the visa appointment, then get back to Singapore and have the passport mailed back to you? If the visa processing time is just a few days (I don't think Serbia needs to process too many visa applications!), you can of course wait. In that case you can also travel to India, apply for the visa there, and then continue to Serbia...– JohnnyjankoCommented Mar 6, 2023 at 10:03

1@Johnnyjanko I can't go anywhere without my passport. So, mailing back won't work.– Anish SheelaCommented Mar 6, 2023 at 10:27

It is not unlikely that you can apply for the visa with a copy of your passport by mail and only have to show up in person at the embassy to get the visa issued. Since the Serbian embassy in Jakarta is responsible for seven other countries in addition to Indonesia, it is probably not too uncommon that people not living in Indonesia apply for a visa there.– Tor-Einar JarnbjoCommented Mar 6, 2023 at 11:17

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. air-travel), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
