This is correct, but it ought to include a link to, or at least a citation identifying, the source of the "relevant wording" (which is found in 8 CFR 217.2(a)).

OP linked to 8 CFR 217.2 but cited 8 CFR 217.2(c). Someone looking in (c) for the language quoted here will not find it.
