Jan 25, 2022 at 17:25 comment added Martin Epsz @LizB I cancelled my extra passenger in person at the airport. I'm still in talks with the insurance company to refund me, because I didn't get any proof of the cancellation, wrongly assuming it would be emailed by the airline.

Oct 26, 2021 at 20:24 comment added Willeke Have you contacted the insurance? In some cases they do not need you to cancel the flight but will pay the part they should pay. (And in any case, contact them before you cancel as they might have some rules about it.)

Their chatbot doesn't seem to have the option I need, they did not reply when I messaged them on twitter, and over the phone they say they are busy and won't put me in contact with an actual person until closer to the date of my flight
