Mar 27, 2016 at 19:15 comment added Doc If your plan is just to cross half-way and turn back, then yes, I believe you can do it without entering the US - however you will still need a passport and (if required) a multi-entry visa to Canada. However the original question was regarding visiting the US side of the falls which requires entering the US.
